The Fairview R-XI School District was established in 1958. We are one of five rural schools located in the West Plains area. The Fairview district serves approximately 500 students in grades PreK-8, with a Pupil/Teacher ratio of 13:1. We are committed to providing a positive learning environment that advocates considerate, responsible, and emotionally healthy behaviors. Each individual student will feel a part of the Fairview community, which promotes positive behavioral development. Our teachers and staff strive to ensure every child has an opportunity to expand their knowledge and develop an educational foundation as they prepare for high school.
I want to extend to you and your family a very warm welcome to Fairview School. Each year will provide important transitions and the acquisition of new skills that will enhance each student’s ability to apply learning in many ways. Fairview is committed to providing a challenging and rigorous curriculum that helps each student progress at a developmentally appropriate rate and provides a safe environment for all students. As the principal of Fairview, I believe that it is my responsibility to maintain and to continue to build a supportive and collaborative spirit at our school. Together as a school community, we will build on the traditions of the past and meet the challenges of the future in innovative and exciting ways.
